Jesus, Java & Jewels Habakkuk 2:2-3

In my previous post, I wrote about how I had prayed for the "stuff" my family and I are currently going through and that how we respond to those answered prayers would set the stage for how our children would pray and how they would trust in the God. A few months ago, I wrote about how God had a way of bringing forth new beginnings. I believe we arrive at these places in our lives because of our actions. If I am truly living in God's will, it doesn't mean that I will not make mistakes. It is then when He allows us to work through our mistakes in order to get to the place where He wants us to be...He has something beautiful in store for each one of us.

In our case, we must start over...easier said than done. We truly believe that God has had a hand in our lives, but for now He needs us to go through some rough waters so to speak in order for us to become even more dependent upon Him. Regardless of what God wants us to go through, we believe that this is His way for us to make a fresh start...new beginnings.

We must shift our focus on the new things that God places before us...letting go of our past so that we have a clearer view of what lies before us. The journey may not be easy. It might take awhile to get back on track, but we must wait patiently. His promises will come to pass. Just because something is delayed doesn't mean it can't or won't come to fruition. We must have faith in His plan.
